US Congresswoman Trahan, who is a sitting representative on the House Armed Services Committee, acknowledged and praised Custom MMICs contribution to the defense effort and applauded their commitment to giving back to the local community especially by encouraging women to pursue careers in STEM related fields.
A brief but informative factory tour followed where Paul described the functions of the specialized testing and probing equipment used in the manufacturing process of MMIC devices. Upon conclusion of the tour Congresswoman Trahan took part in a ceremonial ribbon cutting which signified the official opening of Custom MMICs new expansion with plans for further expansion in the future.
