DC-18 GHz SP3T and SP5T Non-Reflective Switches with High Isolation and Low Loss Released by Custom MMIC

We've added two new GaAs MMIC switches to our expanding product offerings, the non-reflective CMD234C4 and CMD235C4.

The CMD234C4 is a DC-18 GHz broadband MMIC SP3T switch featuring a low insertion loss of 2.4 dB and a high isolation of 40dB at 10 GHz. The CMD235C4 is a DC-18 GHz broadband MMIC SP5T switch offering broadband performance with an insertion loss of 2.5dB and high port-to-port isolation of 40dB at 10 GHz. Ideally suited for high performance military and instrumentation applications, both switches provide a switching speed of 66 ns and an input P1dB of 21 dBm.

These switches feature binary decoder circuitry that reduces the number of logic control lines, from three to two for the SP3T and from five to three for the SP5T. The control voltages for both switches are 0/-5V. Both MMICs are housed in a ROHS compliant 4x4 mm surface mount package.

3 Volt 2-18 GHz Broad Range Distributed Amplifier in 4x4 mm QFN package

We've added a new amplifier to our Broad Range Distributed Amplifier portfolio, the CMD233C4. The 2-18 GHz distributed amplifier is a packaged version of the CMD233 die product.

The CMD233C4 is a wideband GaAs MMIC distributed amplifier with a low noise figure of 4.5 dB and output 1 dB compression point of +20.5 dBm. This amplifier delivers over 9 dB of gain and operates from a single 3 to 6 volt supply.

The CMD233C4 is a replacement for the CMM4000, now in packaged form. The product is a 50 ohm matched design which eliminates the need for external DC blocks and RF port matching. Applications for the CMD233C4 include military, space and communication systems.

High Performance Wideband Driver Amplifiers Ranging from 2 to 9 GHz with High Gain and High Linearity

We've has added two new packaged driver amplifiers to our expanding product offerings, the CMD232C3 and the CMD231C3.

2-9 GHz Driver Amplifier with 15 dB of Gain
The newly released CMD232C3 GaAs MMIC driver amplifier functions from to 2-9 GHz and delivers over 15 dB of temperature stable gain with an output 1 dB compression point of 17 dBm, and an output IP3 of 23 dBm. With this device’s high linearity in a compact 3x3 mm package, these amplifiers serve for military, space and communications systems. We ease the design process, requiring only a single 5 volt positive supply and supply current of only 90mA. The CMD232C3 is a 50 ohm matched design to eliminate the need for external DC blocks and RF port matching. The amplifier is a replacement for the Celeritek CMM-2, now in packaged form.

2-6 GHz Driver Amplifier with Low Current Consumption
Offering wideband performance with a low current consumption, the CMD231C3 leverages GaAs MMIC technology to deliver over 14.5 dB of temperature stable gain and have a supply current of only 45mA. These amplifiers required only a single 3 to 8 volt positive supply, thus simplifying the design process. It is offered in a 3x3 mm leadless surface mount package. Output 1 dB compression point is +13.5 dBm, with an output IP3 of 23.5 dBm. The CMD231C3 is a 50 ohm matched design which eliminates the need for external DC blocks and RF port matching. The amplifier is a replacement for the Celeritek CMM-9, now in packaged form. It is ideally suited for military, space, and communications systems where small die size and high linearity are necessary.
